Reality TV star and singer, Hazel Oyeze Onou, famously known as Whitemoney, has said that hoping to win a Grammy might no longer be a realistic expectation for him.
reports that the BBNaija season 6 winner, who has been extremely vocal about his longing to win a Grammy, lamented that the American award has been compromised and has lost its value.
He shared his reservations during a new interview with content creator, Egungun.
Whitemoney said he is currently after any award that keeps him relevant.
He said, “The way things are going now, Grammys don cast. We need to oversee headies. I don’t know if I’m still working toward my goal of winning Grammys. Presently, I’m chasing after any award that keeps me relevant. Because the Grammy organizers appear to be using Nigeria as a publicity stunt following their treatment of our superstars Burna Boy and Davido at the most recent ceremony.
“In any case, never say never. My music is one of a kind. If it takes me to the Grammys, no wahala.”
